This water treadmill is state of the art in pet rehabilitation. The water supports the weight of the pet while the moving floor encourages walking. This builds strength without damage to the surgical correction. This pet is recovering from surgery for a cranial cruciate ligament tear.
The land treadmill is all about coordination. The pet that knows where her feet are at all times will not make a misstep that could cause an injury. This is the final step in rehabiliation of pets from injury. It is also used for field trial dogs and dogs that need great stamina for the show circuit.
